Located in the Central Valley of California, five miles east of Visalia, California. Kaweah Oaks Preserve is a 324 acre nature preserve and is privately owned and managed by the Four Creeks Chapter of the Sierra Los Tulares Land Trust, based in Visalia. There are 4 trails of differing landscapes: meadow, woodland, forest and swamp. The preserve is often used by local schools for an outdoor classroom. 

We are looking for a person or couple that would be willing to park their RV or trailer near the oak tree (below, right) for a period of up to six months rent-free; electric, sewer hookup, telephone line and laundry also provided. Duties would include promoting visitor compliance to preserve regulations and 10 hours a week light maintenance - mainly weed removal and picking up trash. You would be free to have outside employment, if you so desire.
