Common names: Chinese Sumach
- a dicot in the Simaroubaceae family -
Ailanthus is a dangerous weed 
and should not be allowed to compete with native flora.
Chinese tree of heaven is a curse to the Central Valley. Eradication is difficult.
Occasional on preserve; we are trying to eradicate it.
