| Bull frogs are not native to California. They have impacted
the Western Pond Turtle population by preying on the newly hatched turtles.
The large tadpoles (immature frogs) are fun to catch when the creeks are drying up. See if you can find a tadpole with legs. How long will it take to change into an adult frog?
