 Grasshoppers
This 4" long grasshopper was resting on my car in early November when I returned from the Grapevine Trail. For reasons unknown, it perferred my car over the lush growth near the weir. It was not intimidaded by my presense until I wanted to get a close-up of its mouthparts... it did not sit still for that.
