Our native Sand Spurry usually blooms in May and June.
 
 

This native beauty grows in the eastern alkali meadow along with Salt Grass and Nitrophila. Sand Spurry grows to 10" and blooms in late spring and early summer. You can find Sand Spurry growing in the soil with the highest concentration of alkali minerals.
