Pacific Tree Frog
Family: Hylidae

The tips of this little frog's toes are modified into large sticky pads that function almost like suction cups. This adaptation enables treefrogs to be very skillful climbers and adept jumpers because their sticky toe-pads adhere to the surface of whatever they are climbing or jumping to. These abilities help the treefrog to forage for food and to escape predators.
